- 3 slices Italian bread (white, torn into large pieces)
- 1/4 cup grated romano cheese (freshly)
- 1 Tbsp. garlic (minced)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- salt
- pepper
- 1 1/2 lb. ground sirloin
- 1/2 lb. ground veal
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 2 large eggs (lightly beaten)
- 1/4 cup Italian bread crumbs (fresh, recipe below)
- 3 Tbsp. fresh parsley (chopped)
- 2 Tbsp. fresh basil (chopped)
- 1 Tbsp. kosher salt
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 Tbsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 4 slices crusts (firm Italian bread, removed, let them sit out for about an hour to firm up)
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (freshly)
- 10 cups marinara sauce (fresh)

These meatballs were delicious! I followed the recipe as writtened. People should not make comments on this recipe if they make changes to it.

They turned out very well. We made some changes. We did one pound of lamb, one pound of beef and a half pound of pork. To the seasoning, we added an onion (minced), and extra garlic clove, a tablespoon of paprika and a half tablespoon of fennel. Both the flavor and texture were amazing!
