Packed with plenty of protein and fiber to start your day off right, these homemade cereal bars are also vegan and gluten free. Packed with nuts, seeds, and dried fruit, these cereal bars are lightly sweetened with maple syrup and bound together with peanut butter.

- 1 1/2 cups oats
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds (coarsely)
- 1/4 cup pistachios (coarsely chopped)
- 1/8 cup flax seeds
- 1/8 cup sesame seeds
- 1/8 cup chia seeds
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup peanut butter

Directions
- Toast oats in oven for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Mix oat, almonds, pistachios, flax seeds, sesame seeds, chia seeds, and dried cranberries in a large bowl.
- In a small saucepan, mix maple syrup and peanut butter. The mixture should be warm and smooth. Add it to the cereal and nut mixture, mix well.

Easy to make and loved all the healthy add-ins. Taste was good but slightly too peanut buttery for my family. I'll add more syrup and less peanut butter next time.
