- 1/4 cup Dutch cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup sugar (pure maple syrup, or honey)
- 1/2 cup milk (choice + 3 tbsp cornstarch, I use non-GMO cornstarch - Readers reported success with arrowroot, although I have not tried)
- 3.5 oz. chocolate chips (or broken-up bar, optional)
- 3/4 tsp. pure vanilla extract

Excellent! I used Oat Milk and Banana Milk, and opted for less sugar, and it turned out very well. I'll definitely make it again.

Came out nicely! I did a lite version with sugar substitute, 0 milk + coconut milk. Added 3 yolks though. Would make it again.

Takes a little time, but is SO good. I used Hershey’s special dark cocoa without chocolate chips

great recipe and i did replace with arrow root but i but the double in arrow and for the extra healthyness i added a bit of whey protein with no lactose and replaced the milk with almond milk

I followed the directions and it was nothing but water. Not sure why it didn't thicken up.

Amazing! Tasted just the way I’d hoped it would. Was a little rubbery though. May put less arrowroot next time.
