My local grocery store had massive 10 to 12 inch russet baking potatoes on sale this week, and I used a crinkle cut potato slicer to give each slice a rippled edge and placed chop sticks on each side of the potato to prevent cutting all the way through. Drizzled with olive oil and then heavy shakes of kosher salt and powdered ranch dressing. Baked them for 55 minutes and they were perfection!

Took a lot longer than 40 minutes! I added other seasonings. Had to finish in the microwave for 5 mins!

I doubled the number of potatoes used melted butter instead of olive oil and added minced garlic & french fry seasoning to it and everybody loved them❤️❤️❤️

the potatoes were absolutely delicious and easy to make, i left them in the oven for an hour instead though.

This was ok. I mean it’s potato’s, so flavor-wise, that’s difficult to mess up, but preparing this was a little too hard for me, and I wish the directions would’ve given some tips or something on how to cut the potatos. Probably won’t make this again.

They were a little dry, put some ranch dressing on the side for dipping, otherwise they were good.

These were really good. Make thin cuts as they will cook better. I was a bit inconsistent on the width of the cuts and some slices were more firm than others. I also used two metal straws on either side of the potato to ensure I didn’t cut all the way through

Cooked exactly according to recipe but potatoes were still raw in the middle after the required cooking time. Left on for an extra 15 minutes but still not cooked to the centre.

turned out really good. i used a little bit of garlic/Italian seasoning mix in the olive oil and brusd over the potatoes before putting them in the oven and then about 20 minutes into baking. delicious and a favorite! will make again
