- cayenne (Optional:, my husband put some cayenne on some of the shrimp for himself)
- vegetable oil (for the grill grates)
- 1 lb. asparagus (woody ends snapped off; cut into 2 inch long pieces)
- 1/2 lb. pasta (; I used thin spaghetti)
- 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 lemon
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes (optional)
