This was so good! I live getting to use fresh basil from my garden. Love how fresh the pork chops tasted. Will definitely make again. I might even try this marinade on steak. Yummmm

Soooo good! Will definitely be saving as a favorite. No need to use your food processor if you have a mortar and pestle! Also, I added the zest of the lemon that I used for the juice to give it a little extra lemon kick. Gonna try this marinade on chicken next!

So easy to put together and always a family favorite. I typically use thin cut pork chops, and use them for sandwiches. I also use the little containers of packaged basil that can be found in the cooler of the produce section at Kroger.

So personally I do not eat pork chops, but I made this for my boyfriend I was going to cut recipe in half but I had 3 pork chops in the package and if I didn’t make the full amount of the sauce that goes on them I wouldn’t have had enough depending on how many pork chops you do I suggest doubling or even 2.5x the amount of the sauce for 4 pork chops I just barely had enough for 3 pork chops and the amount of what it calls for 4 chops.

Not nearly enough sauce, you need very good meat to pull this off
