Never made granola before and I got lucky with this recipe. I added chopped walnuts but followed the recipe. I needed 2 large sheet pans, but I didn’t divide it equally. I made one larger than the other. Put them both in the oven for 8 min and then stirred and switched pans for another 8 min. Any longer and the smaller pan would have burnt. The smaller pan did get more golden clusters than the larger pan, but when you combined the 2 pans, it was perfection. Added craisins and raisins to the finished product.

I add walnut and macadamia and change from Flax to Chia, still very good. The recipe itself is recommended. Very nice.

I subbed 1 cup of almonds for 1/2 cup each of walnuts and pecans that I needed to use. This was a great and simple recipe. I was thinking next time I might try to add some dried apples.
