Fresh corn and grits. What could be better. I made this just as the directions said. I did use 2% milk and it was still rich creamy and corny. I did cook it on low for 45 to 60 minutes to get the grits cooked through. I served it as a side dish to grilled halibut with cilantro lime marinade and fresh fruit as another side. I can't wait to take the left over grits and fry it with some eggs for breakfast. Yummy. I will definately make this again and again.

OMG - first time I tried grits and I loved them. This recipe is super easy and super tasty. Served as a base for a plate of roast vegetables. Salt was just right,
