Was ok, haven’t blended it

I love this soup! I haven’t tried it with the balsamic yet because I’m enjoying it so much on its own. I also love that it fits in with my diet 😊

I’ve made this soup several times. It is the best lentil soup! Don’t forget to add a balsamic glaze drizzle.

Super easy! I used red lentils, and I added frozen spinach and cayenne.

Second time I’ve made this soup in two weeks time, huge hit first time and left me wanting more so made it again. Soup is simple lentils made right. Came out so so so good.

This soup is wonderful. It has so much flavor for a vegan recipe. This is absolutely going into the cookbook.

It turned out great. I just added some more water, one bay leaf and a chopped medium sized potato.

I followed the receipe and directions except I doubled carrots, celery and used 2 cups of dry lentils. It came out delish. I will freeze half and eat the other half over the next few days. I am trying lots of new foods and will add this to my rotation.

Awesome soup, this is a go-to in my house. It uses such simple ingredients but really produces a delicious flavor. Don't skip the balsamic vinegar! It seriously makes it sooo good. Easy to double, easy to freeze, and budget friendly.

It turned out really well. I like a thick soup so I didn’t add extra stock.

Simply delicious. I added a little pulled beef for a slightly meatier flavor. Will definitely make it again!

Fantastic! I added more veggie broth because the lentils soaked up a lot it. It was a big hit. Got a big round sour dough bread from the Italian bakery and heated it up with a crunchy crust. The balsamic added was delicious (not everyone added the balsamic) great dish! Used the Trader Joe’s green lentils and did not take use blender to purée a portion. It was thick and hardy enough.

Well... this soup is amazing!! However. I started with chopped bacon instead of olive oil, 6 cloves of garlic, carrots, celery and used leeks instead of the onion and a cup of chopped cilantro, bay leaf and a can of rotel. Soooo delicious. Not really the original French recipe but very tasty.

I added 1/2 tbsp. cumin and a bay leaf to simmer. It was perfect! A little thick, more like a stew and I loved it that way! Served it over some cooked Ancient Grains.
