didnt love this recioe. it was ok but a bit bland . my hunt for great scalopped potatoes continues!

It was good but I think oven temperature was too high as it started to burn after about 50 minutes. I would definitely make it again but lower oven temperature and add more cream. I used half & half which was good.

Very delicious! The entire family liked it and decided this is on the make again list. The only thing that took the longest was prepping the potatoes and assembly. But still very easy.

Delicious! Used cheddar cheese instead of Parmesan (it’s what I had) and half & half cream. Also didn’t have fresh thyme so used dry. Used smaller yellow potatoes and did not bother peeling them.

Great recipe, I added a bit of cheddar and black pepper into the mix and still came out perfect. Made for a holiday as side dish with pork but would go great with chicken or seafood also.

So yummy! We didn’t have thyme on hand, so used dried oregano instead.

didnt have heavy cream so used some milk and a bit of flower and added a few of my own spices, also used mozzarela. turned out really good still.

The thyme was a bit overpowering. I prefer a little variety of spices and maybe a bit more cheesy. Overall okay but I don’t think it will be on my list for the future.

I generally hate reviews that say it was good/bad when the recipe isn't followed, but here I am doing it. I didn't have Parmesan on hand so I used a chunk of gruyere I had left from over buying for another recipe and some shredded cheddar, so that's what I used. It came out delicious, but I hope my family doesn't expect gruyere every time I make it!

Great! Everybody loved it. My brother doesn't always like scalloped potatoes but loved these. I used more garlic, spices and cream though as I tend to spice to my taste at the moment.

Delicious! Made this tonight for dinner. I actually added a little more heavy cream than called for on each layer to cover all potatoes. I didn’t use Thyme (didn’t have any on hand) and I accidentally forgot to put the parm cheese on two of the layers 🙄 However, it came out great. Will definitely make again!
