Sauce was delish but not enough and too runny. But flavor was good. I should have just browned the chicken instead of coming all the way through it was almost tough

Delish! Family loved it.

It was delicious. Served with brown rice and steamed broccoli. I used bottled lime juice for convenience and was good.

Delicious !!! This a family favorite!!

For us it was too much lime (1 lime). K. told he thinks he doesn’t like cilantro, and as sour dishes, and would prefer not to have it repeated.

Used sour cream in place of heavy cream and it turned out fine. Also used more cilantro than the recipe called for because we really like cilantro. Chicken was a little dry but overall it was very delicious. Will make it again.

It turned out fine, but I wasn't really a fan. It wasn't bad, just not my thing. I had it with potatoes, and I personally thought that the potatoes tasted better with the sauce than the chicken did.

First time i made it, and it was ok, but i am not a cook. I used 97% lime solution instead of lime, and it was a little sour, next time i will use only 1 tbsp of it.
After i put cream and mix, i can still see the separation between oil and cream, I suspect cream need to be mixed before

Great sauce with rice and chicken! I omit the water and just add as much cream as I think I need (more like 1 cup)
Yummly User 3 years ago
maybe i did something wrong but it was kind of bland and not very creamy.

Really tasty, wasn't as much sauce as I wanted. Will make again.

We made this twice already and with rice on the side, turned out great!

It was good! I used heavy cream, split my chicken breasts to speed up the cooking. I read the reviews and saw where someone used adobo on the chicken, that was a good suggestion. Also cornstarch slurry to help thicken. S/O said it was “fancy”. Will make again.

This was an excellent dinner. I found it easy to make and very satisfying. I used a thin sliced chicken breast for faster cooking.I served it over rice with some peas. My family loved this. I recommend this highly especially for an evening meal after work. Enjoy!

So, I'm a big flavor junkie. I doubled the garlic, lime and cilantro and it turned out really good. I served it over spanish rice. It was pretty great.

Perfect! Very tasty and easy to make. Served it with garlic mash potatoes and salad! We loved it!

Followed the steps and ingredients, and it came out nicely. I did cook the chicken a few minutes more as it still had pink bits at the 8minute mark. Would make again for sure!

Easy recipe, good flavor, but a few things could be changed to make it jaw dropping. I did oil and butter to cook the chicken, added some chili powder alongside the pepper flakes, and made a little more sauce. If you boil some (already sliced) potatoes and added them to the sauce with some asparagus prior to re-adding the chicken; it makes a great side! So does rice pilaf!

Very tasty, just the right amount of spice. I’ve served this with rice and with pasta, both very good. But my favorite is to serve with fettuccine, the sauce goes great with the pasta! We seem to go to this recipe once a month.
