- 2 Tbsp. seasoning rub (I use my smoked paprika rub, but you can use a seasoning salt or bbq rub - basically any rub with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika - not an herb rub)
- 1/2 lb. bacon (cut strips in half)
- 4 oz. shredded cheddar
- sugar (free barbecue use, optional, to serve)

we used chicken tender cuts and parmesan cheese instead. Flavor was great without any sauce, but also good with sauce. for a contradt can try a gluten free plum sauce for a lttle sweet with the savory.

it was okay. I think next time I will try a different rub. this time I just used garlic salt.

Delicious! I did put it under the broiler for a few minutes because I wanted my bacon crisper. I also cut my chicken a little thinner so I cooked it less. Overall very yummy and easy to make
