Amazing flavors and I use the left over chicken and stock for a Greek orzo lemon chicken soup!

Great flavour. I added a few garlic cloves and two lemon quarters to the cavity, carrots at the bottom, halved potatoes around, garlic cloves and lemon slices on top of the potatoes and the legs where they meet the breast. Olive oil and generous oregano, salt and pepper all around the pot. I basted at the one hour mark and removed the lid. Despite best efforts no crispy skin but it justified removing some of the more rubbery skin and didn’t take away flavour. Served with Greek Salad. As others have said - easy, cheap and yummy

Easy and cheap to make. We love it. We can't get the skin crispy but the chicken is fall off the bone tender.

Flavor was great! Tried to get the skin crispy as recommend, even with the lid off, but temp got too high to get my desired crispness. Will have to start crisping sooner next time.

I love this recipe. The chicken was delicious, very flavorful the lemons bring to the chicken. I did add carrots, onions, and potatoes. And I used olive oil instead of butter. It was a big hit with the family.
