by my own fault i should have known the batter would have stuck to the fryer basket...but i quickly recovered by using this batter then coating my shrimp and fish in panko! it was perfect after that

used a strawberry blonde brew and a little lemon zest. Had to add a tsp-ish of baking powder, cooked up light It was great

It was the best deep fried fish my family and i have eaten, and even better its nowhere near as oily as take away shops!

It's was crispy and light...fried up good just a little messy

The first batch was delicious, however the oil wasn't hot enough initially so the crust was a bit soggy but the second batch was gorgeous brown, crispy and all pieces stayed in tact. We favor Cod when buying frozen and this recipe was perfect for it!
