Meat was very tender, the rest was tasteful, next time I’ll add more spices. In general this is a very good and easy recipe to make!

Added salt, pepper, tomato paste and mushrooms. Next time I will sear the meat first but all in all a great recipe. The veggies and meat were all fork tender after cooking on low for 9 hours.

This is so great! I coated the meat first in salt, pepper, and arrowroot powder and then browned it in ghee and olive oil. I sauteed the onions and garlic and then deglazed the pan with the wine. I added 2TBSP tomato paste and added everything else to the crockpot and cooked it for 8 hours. Delicious! I didn't use flour as I wanted it to be gluten free and used the arrowroot powder instead.

This was very good I had cooked it on high instead of on low; for only 6hrs.! and my husband loved it as well I will be making this again!

Bland bland bland! Advice: Season and brown the meat first! Adding tomato past also helped.

Added tomatoes, beefy onion soup mix, cream of mushroom, and other seasoning. Be generous with seasoning and red wine for more robust flavoring. I didn’t have carrots, so I used canned green beans, which worked fine. My whole family enjoyed this hearty soup with skillet cornbread! Will make this again!

Very good. May add more flour if you like a thicker stew

We like our food bland but this recipe is blander than bland. We followed the directions as outlined and added a package of Slow Cooker Mix and still had to add some additional Worcestershire. Cooking on Low, after 10 hours, the meat was decent but the potatoes and carrots (all covered with liquid) were almost raw. Anticipate a much longer cooking time.

Absolute fantastic! Tweaked the spices a little according to my family's tastes but this was a fantastic recipe and will be used over and over again!

Fantastic, we both enjoyed the flavours.
Browned the meat first & added a couple of parsnips along with the rest of the
veggies. Just before serving I thicken it with Knorr Veloutine thickener turned
out great.
We'll be making this again.
