We call these Grab Apples or Buckeyes here in Iowa, but we make these every year for the holidays. It's my favorite family tradition. You literally can't go wrong with these!
Also to those who say they melt, we have always stored them in the freezer and ate it right like that, or let it sit out on the counter for 10 or 15 minutes and you're good to go. :)

This is the second time I have made this and they are fantastic! You need patience when doing the chocolate, but it is definitely worth the effort!

Delicious! Easy to make but messy! Need to keep refrigerated, melt quickly....

I feel it needs more rice krispie's.

These are delicious, no doubt. But it only gets 4 stars because they require patience. They are easy but time consuming. You must get the batter very cold to be able to roll into balls. Then very cold again to dip in chocolate. I think I added a bit more crispy rice cereal but otherwise followed the ingredients. They were a hit at Christmas.

These are awesome!
People that are on a diet, can't even help themselves
I've made them twice and added sliced almonds instead of crispy rice cereal.
This is on my go-to recipe for a gift idea.
