    tried to bake it rather than fry it because i couldn't get past how much butter was required!!! baking it wasnt great, it was edible but wasn't good....

    It is good as written and easy to prepare as a weeknight dinner. But it is way to much fat and butter. I modify with whole wheat bread crumbs and add Italian seasoning. I use an egg wash for coating the chicken vs dipping it in butter. I also use a plant based butter and can get away with using about 2 T to fry the chicken and then 1 T to sauté the garlic and zucchini. The key is a good pan to get the coating crispy. This is a keeper!

    Really good! I doubled the recipe, but I would probably try with less butter next time to see how it comes out (it tasted good, but was a LOT of butter!) Also only had half a zucchini in the house, so added onion and some red pepper along with it to make up the difference, and boy, was that the right choice! Delicious!

    Loved this!! Have made it over and over again! My tip is to get EXTRA zucchini because that’s the best part! I like to mix the bread crumbs in flour just so it’s extra crispy. You’ll definitely enjoy :)

    turned out great. added some squash along with the zucchini, baked the chicken after i cooked it in the pan to get it chrispy and added some chicken broth to the veggies. it added a very flavorful sauce.

    I have this very special skill where I can make anything tast like dirt. when I cooked this it tasted like I added just a smidge too much of butter. so simply this recipe is easy enough, an idiot could make it and enjoy it.

    From someone who's not passionate about cooking, this is an easy meal although it took longer to make than I would've liked (I dislike standing over the stove). It was well worth it! This meal was DELICIOUS & fulfilling! My family enjoyed it. It was flavorful & will become an regular go to meal in my home. My son said "MOM what did you put in this breading it's AMAZING". I did add buttermilk to my melted butter batter & onions to my zucchini.. Needless to say there were NO leftovers!

    I didn't have any breadcrumbs so I used cornmeal instead and used a little less butter. It turned out great and will definitely be making this again.

    It uses a lot of butter which makes it a bit heavy however the flavor was very good and super simple to put together, I will definitely cook this again!

    This was so good. Like one of the best meals I ever made. I did add a lot more Parmesan than it called for in the zucchini, and the chicken took longer to cook. And as expected, it is quite a heavy meal so if you want to eat healthy, low fat foods, don’t make this.

    Quick and easy and delicious; I added some low sodium chicken broth to the garlic and zucchini and I I swapped one of the zucchini for a yellow squash! The broth coated everything; simply delicious

    Chicken came out perfectly! The quick turn in the pan after the veg is done adds just the right amount of garlic. Roasted baby potatoes and added to pan instead of zucchini; awesome!
