I followed the directions exactly and it was delicious. I chose the baking method sand the tofu was nice and firm and crispy. I served with rice and steamed veggies! Great meal and my meat loving boyfriend enjoyed it too!!

I used the air fryer instead of an oven and cooked the tofu at the same temperature for half the time. Came out very tasty!

It tasted delicious! However, there wasn’t a lot of marinade left in the bowl after I took the tofu out to bake it. When I added the additional soy sauce ( I used coconut aminos) and honey with the corn starch in the skillet it got “gummy” almost immediately. Not sure what I might have done wrong there. But, I added the tofu and just let it crisp up some more in the skillet. It had a really good taste to it!

Haven’t tried it yet. It’s still in the oven.

Sweet and spicy, flavorful I didn’t have oyster sauce so I used extra soy sauce and mixed it w a half tsp of brown sugar I also found that I didn’t need to bake it for as long as the recipe instructed

I made this delicious dinner twice in two weeks! My wife and I absolutely love this recipe. I use the oven baking method and I do not skip any steps since the key to getting it right is to have extra firm tofu, with extra water removed, marinated properly and baked according to directions, then finally coating with the gravy marinade sauce and spread over a bed of rice! By following the rules you come out with delicious tasty and crispy tofu cubes. To facilitate flipping the tofu after the first 20 minute bake, I use parchment paper to flip the tofu cubes sandwiched between the parchment paper and a second cookie sheet, then baking the second 20 minutes. The less handling of the tofu allows it to crisp properly before dumping it in the gravy marinade and serving immediately on a bed of steamed fluffy brown or white rice. I recommend a little bit less red pepper flakes in this recipe. The first time it took me about 2 hours to prepare this dish and about 1.5 hours the second time! I’m getting faster each time I prep this dish!

The sauce is incredibly strong, so if I was to make it again, I'd want to really dilute it.

Didn't have the oyster sauce, but it still turned out yummy. Simple to make, threw some blanched broccoli in at the end to coat in sauce with tofu and enjoyed over white rice.

Very good my family loved it. Bit sweet so I would cut back on the honey if you don’t want to feel like you’re eating candy.

Holy moly, this is like one of the top 15 foods that I have ever made before ❤️❤️❤️ I think the only thing I would change is to not have the salt, or minimize how much you put into the marinade. It is so amazing though!
