i was not impressed with this dish. the sauce left a certain bean feeling (grittiness?) that is fine in whole beans but was off putting in a sauce. there wasn't much flavor other than that. I would have to change quite a few things to see if it improved the recipe but I will keep trying to find something that makes this base recipe work because it is healthy. I think heavy cream would have worked better and maybe some oregano or something. we will also have to experiment with other beans. I used cannellini.
