The recipe turned out watery, but I added flour and some extra cheese, macaroni and heavy cream and that made it much better.

Doubling the pasta and skipping the salt makes this my go-to stovetop recipe. This time I added 8oz of sautéed mushrooms and a cup of buttered cornflake topping and baked for 10min - best mac I've ever made!
