Delicious! My family loved this recipe. I wanted something sweet to balance out my salty menu so I added a little white sugar to the casserole. I will be adding this recipe to my "special occasion" recipe box.

Amazing! And super easy. Cooked it for 45 min and was a little doughy inside might have needed a little linger in the oven but the family loves it!!

Very Delicious and was a hit for the Family Christmas meal, simple to make! i will definitely be making more of this, in the future! i wasn't sure what size of pan to use. i used an enambled cast iron au gratin dish and it was the perfect size and it cooked perfectly!

I sure wish this recipe had stipulated WHAT SIZE PAN to use! I had to make two of these. First one was one recipe using a 9"X13"pan. Seemed too shallow. Still, I had to give it a LOT of extra baking time and it still seems mooshy. Finally, I decided maybe it's suppose to be mooshy, as it's a caserole, not a regular corn bread. Because I was preparing it for guests at Christmas dinner, I then proceeded to make a second single recipe and bake in a 9"X9" pan. Thicker--looks much better. Had to give it an extra half hour of baking time. I just hope and pray it's cooked enough. We'll find out soon enough. I also hope it keeps for a day and a half without getting all soggy. I am really trusting in the fact that this is a five star recipe. Will come back after Christmas to say how it went. For now I'll give it 3 stars and hope to increase it to 5 stars shortly
OK, I am back. Increased to 5 stars. I never even put the cheese on top of this, and I loved it., just plain. I will definitely be using this recipe again! I was able to make it ahead and reheat it to serve as a part of Christmas dinner. Delish! It's my new favorite.
