- 16 oz. beef (flank or top sirloin steak, sometimes called stir fry beef)
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 tsp. ginger (freshly grated, or 1/2 teaspoon dried ground ginger)
- 2 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 8 oz. low sodium soy sauce (1 liquid cup)
- 8 oz. water (1 liquid cup)
- 1 cup brown sugar (lightly packed)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. corn starch
- 3 Tbsp. cold water
- 2 scallions (green tops only, thinly sliced)
- black sesame seeds (or White, optional)
- 2 cups cooked white rice (I used Lundberg's organic)
