Easy and delicious. I made this recipe with three cups of powdered sugar for a double layer white velvet cake and when I frosted it, I wished I had doubled the recipe. Will double everything next time. That way I can have a thicker layer of frosting between cake layers and still a good thick top and sides. Excellent.

This was my first time making frosting from scratch; and it was so easy!! The flavor was incredible. I read the reviews and I tried not to make it too sweet so I tried 2 cups of powdered sugar; and then I made a second batch with 3 cups of sugar. I really enjoyed the batch with 3 cups of sugar it was well balanced between the tart of the cheese and the sweetness of the sugar. Fabulous. I think of myself as a kind of cream cheese connoisseur, and this recipe was top-notch. I used three cups of powdered sugar, and would consider going with less, because I prefer a stronger cream cheese taste.

So good! Ended up only using 2 cups of powdered sugar and it was delicious.

Used 2 cups powdered sugar instead of 3, and used (sweetened) cocoa powder to make it chocolate frosting for a chocolate cake. Loved it!
