Description
Crunch on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, coated in cinnamon and sugar, nothing is quite so good as the perfectly made churro. Make your own at home with this recipe for Churros. Made from a mixture of all purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and boiling water, these churros are fried in olive oil to save some calories and then coated in a generous layer of granulated sugar. Coat in a cinnamon sugar mixture if you like a little spice with your sweet.

- 250 mL water
- 120 grams all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- olive oil
- sugar

Directions
- In a pot, set the water to boil with the salt.
- Separately, sift the flour and baking powder together. When the water is boiling, add the flour in one large lump. Immediately remove the pot from heat and stir vigorously with a wooden spoon until everything is mixed.
- Once the dough has cooled enough to handle, spoon it into a pastry bag fitted with a serrated tip.
