- 1/2 Tbsp. fresh ginger (minced, ~1 inch piece)
- 1/2 Tbsp. garlic (fresh, minced, ~2 large cloves)
- 3/4 cup carrots (julienned, ~1 large carrot)
- 3/4 cup celery (thinly sliced, ~2 stalks)
- 1/2 cup red pepper (thinly sliced, ~1 large pepper)
- 1/2 cup baby bella mushrooms (thinly sliced)
- 1/4 cup green onions (~3 onions)
- 1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 6 oz. chow mein noodles
- 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 Tbsp. lite soy sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp. vegetarian oyster sauce (regular oyster sauce if not vegetarian)
- 1/3 cup stock (veggie, or veggie broth, chicken stock/broth works if not vegetarian)
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar (lightly measured, do not pack!)
- 1/2 tsp. sesame oil (toasted, or plain)
- cracked pepper (Freshly)

It was delicious, it takes a lot longer to prep than the instructions say, but it’s still delicious. So I downgraded the stars because you need to give yourself a couple of hours for this, mostly for the vegetable prep. I also added water, chestnuts, and bamboo shoots, because why not?

It was very good. I followed the recipe exactly. The only thing I might try next time is to double the sauce. That would just be a personal change.

So flavorful !! Used my own selection of vegetables but the sauce was perfect used a little more brown sugar with a touch of apple cider vinegar

i added more soy as it wasnt salty enough for me. add more cornstarch, trust me.
