- 1 1/2 cups gluten free flour blend (I used King Arthur's Gluten Free Blend)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup organic cane sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup organic coconut oil (unrefined, or organic canola oil, or melted vegan buttery spread)
- 2/3 cup non dairy milk (I used SO Delicious unsweetened coconut milk)
- 3 Tbsp. coconut milk yogurt (vanilla, * I used SO Delicious brand)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup vegan buttery spread
- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
- 3 Tbsp. beet (puree**)
- 3/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips (I used Enjoy Life mini-chocolate chips)
