- 1 Tbsp. chili powder (I use 1 tsp Chimayo chile powder and 2 tsp medium hot New Mexican chili powder)
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. Tabasco
- 28 oz. canned whole tomatoes (undrained)
- 2 cups red beans (or pinto, use cooking liquid to make the desired consistency, or 1 can 15oz of beans, undrained)

Enjoyed it !
But I added some chopped red, green and yellow peppers from my freezer.
Added 2 small chopped hot Serrano peppers 🌶
1 can Dark red kidney beans
1 can Light red kidney beans

Turn out great I added 1/2 teaspoon of Cajun powder. One 14 oz can of stewed tomatoes and one 14 oz can of chili ready tomatoes and chil ready pinto beans. No hot pepper sauce.

Used yves veggie ground beef (same taste w/o the blood vessels!) , must be no salt-added canned tomatoes if the TOTAL sodium is 500mg...

way too salty. i would add only 1/4tsp of salt and it was too bland so i added 3 thai peppers, 3/4c sliced button mushrooms, 1/4tsp smoked paprika, 3/4c marinara. less boring.

I took out all the spices (other than onion and garlic), drained the beans, used 2 cans and added an extra 15 oz can of tomato sauce. Delish!!!

id say add a little more hot sauce and chili powder. other then that great. kept onion chopped bigger. was good. whole family loved even my nieces who dislike chili
