- 2 tsp. kosher salt (or to taste)
- 3/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- ground black pepper (freshly)
- 28 oz. whole peeled tomatoes (chopped down in a food processor, or can of crushed tomatoes)
