- 2 onions (medium, thinly sliced)
- 2/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 3/4 tsp. ginger (grated, I use the tubes they sell in the produce section)
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 4 cups broccoli (cooked, I use 1-2 microwavable steamed broccoli bags)

Great! Would definitely make this again. Might try asparagus next time. It was easy enough to make, but two bowls (for the two sauces) and three pans (for chicken and onions, one for rice, and one to steam broccoli) was a lot of clean up. I can see where using frozen broccoli and rice (I assume the frozen rice would be microwaveable) would be a huge game changer. Regardless it was worth it.

Made half the recipe. Next time, I’ll make the full amount of sauce. Very flavorful, quick and easy. My kind of recipe.😀 Served over cauliflowe rice, thus more sauce. Yum.

Made this quick and super easy recipe tonight for dinner.
We added shredded carrots and sesame seed. It was a big hit !!

I made 1/2 the recipe. The combination of the onions, soy, ginger and brown sugar made this the most flavorful dish. Quick and easy. I put the chicken in the air fryer. Steamed broccoli in the microwave. Done in 25 minutes.

I used half the amount of soy sauce and it was too salty to eat. A waste of time, money and a ruined dinner.

It was top salty so I added honey at the end. The result was really tasty! A bit like teriyaki.

Pretty good! A little on the spicy side if you have little ones. You may want to omit the red pepper. I personally like the kick

Came out awesome. We used our rice pot to steam the broccoli so the broccoli was a little mushy but if you put the chicken and broccoli over the rice you won’t be able to stop devouring it. Kudos on this awesome recipe!

It was ok although I could not get the surrey to thicken so I skipped that part. I would make it again though

The Chicken and Broccoli was great!! I cut back on the red pepper flakes because I am not a fan of too much spice. It turned out perfect. I doubled the recipe.

Definitely recommend! There's only three of us and there were no leftovers! Perfect over Riced cauliflower!

Although it did not take me 30-45 min to make as indicated (it took about 1h with prep and cooking), the final product was tasteful. I would try honey next time for sweet substitute for brown sugar, or maybe to thicken instead of cornstarch. Thank you.
