Ingredients
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp. chai tea
- 1/2 tsp. gelatin
- 1 1/2 cups whipping cream
- 1/8 cup sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 500 grams butter
- 53 grams oatmeal
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 32 grams flour
- 20 mL corn syrup
- 20 mL whole milk
- 1/3 tsp. vanilla
- 1 pinch salt
Directions
- Panna Cotta: Bring the milk to a boil in a saucepan and add the chai tea. Place in a bowl covered with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 48 hours.
- Place the milk mixture into a heavy saucepan and sprinkle the gelatin over it. Let sit for 5 minutes. Heat until the mixture is warm, but do not allow to boil, approximately 3 or 4 minutes.
- When the gelatin has dissolved, stir in the cream, honey, sugar, and salt. Cook on medium-low heat until the sugar is dissolved, but without allowing the mixture to come to a boil, approximately 5 minutes.
