Absolutely sensational! I "velvetted" the chicken which I recently learnt how to do and it added so much more to the dish. I used chicken breast and sizzle steak instead of just chicken. I also added broccoli, carrot, zucchini, mushrooms, capsicum and snow peas which stretched out the dish and didnt take away from the flavour. I halved the amount of soy sauce as I was worried the full amount might be too much. I might increase the amount over time. This dish is something you make to show off to your friends and if you haven't tried "velvetting", you're missing out.

substituted green beans for broccoli, otherwise made it as the recipe calls for. definitely will make again!

Delicious and full of great textures. Definitely needed to thicken it with the starch. Added baby corn because it’s a fave of my SO but it took away from the flavour IMHO.

Added carrots and celery; served on egg noodles. Easy favourite.
