- 1 tsp. black pepper (freshly cracked)
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce (I like this brand)
- 1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce (like Kikkoman, or coconut aminos like this)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh ginger (minced, less if you don't like spice)
- 1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes (omit if you don't like spice)
- 2 green onions (medium Chopped, sliced for garnish, optional)

Very good! It's just me at home, so it makes A LOT. I will cut this recipe in half next time.

Surprisingly delicious! My husband took his first bite and said “restaurant quality”.
We also added crushed almonds on top and we listened to the other review and added broccoli. We put this recipe on top of a bed of quinoa. We will make this again!

This is the second time I’ve made this recipe. It never fails. I always add broccoli or another vegetable because I love it so much.
