okay. pretty tasty the bacon dodn't make it into the dish. i ate it waiting for the fresh squash to boil and become my puree ingredient. i stopped at 1 tablespoon of sage

Needs at least twice as much pasta as listed, but overall a good base recipe. I did puree my own squash and add in the peices I had left. Will add more mustard and spices to the leftover sauce and use in the future.

texture wasnt quiet mac and cheese but the flavor was delicious! Great recipe to sneak veggies into a meal. Made with loctose free milk. Would make a great sauce for broccoli & cheese dip. will make again.

Modifications I made: I pureed my own butternut squash, and used 1 tsp ground sage instead of 1.5 Tbsp fresh, didn't make bacon (I did sprinkle some Bac'n Bits on.
This recipe definitely turned out creamy! Honestly 8 oz of pasta wasn't enough; there is definitely much more sauce than pasta. I don't think I'll be making this again, though; the butternut squash added a kind of... sharp sweetness that the salt and spices couldn't cover.

This recipe was delicious. A great comfort food recipe that is creamy, bacon-y, and cheesy.
