- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp. milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 8 Tbsp. melted butter (warm, 1 stick, 112 g)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups blackberries (about 5-6 oz, about 150g of, fresh or frozen, if using fresh berries, cut them in half, if using frozen berries, defrost first, drain excess liquid, then coat them lightly in flour)

Love how fast these muffins came together. Great flavor and texture, wonderful way to use our bounty of wild blackberries. Happy to have a muffin without the messy, sticky sugar toppings. Will make another batch for the freezer!

DELICIOUS! I only had light sour cream on hand so I used that, didn’t seem to make a difference.

Fantastic recipe! Turned out perfect and made 21 big muffins! I added fresh lemon juice (because why not!?) and used fresh in season blackberries. Delicious!

Tasty muffin. I made a few changes like using yogurt instead of sour cream and whole wheat flour instead of white.
