- 600 grams ground beef
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1/8 onion (grated)
- 1/3 cup red bell pepper (cut into thin strips)
- 1/2 cup manchego (menonita, or cheddar cheese)
- 1 tsp. chile de arbol (finely chopped)
- 6 slices bread (preferably Pita bread)
- lettuce (as much as you like)
- 1 tomato (sliced)
- pickles
- jalapeno pepper

Directions
- Mix the ground beef and the egg in a bowl. Add salt and pepper (optional), make medium sized patties by hand, and fry the patties in a pan until both sides are completely cooked.
- Mix the mayonnaise, onion, bell pepper, cheese, and chile de arbol together in a bowl to make the sauce.
- Add the sauce to one side of each patty once you’ve flipped the meat for the first time.
- Serve the meat with sliced tomato, pickles, lettuce, and the bread of your choice.
