- 2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 can black beans (rinsed and drained)
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 Tbsp. fresh oregano (finely chopped)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh cilantro (finely chopped)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- hamburger buns

Directions
- In a large bowl combine all the ingredients. Mix well with hands for at least a minute or two.
- Shape into 12 burgers and grill, broil or pan-fry until thoroughly cooked.
- Place burgers on buns and serve with favorite condiments.
