- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper (coarse ground)
- 1/4 tsp. thyme leaves
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 1/2 lb. beef sirloin (boneless, trimmed and cut into thin strips)
- 1 cup water
- 8 oz. sour cream

Directions
- Mix flour, salt, spices and herbs in small bowl. Set aside.
- Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add beef; cook and stir 3 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Stir flour mixture and water into skillet until well blended and smooth. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer 5 minutes or until sauce is thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in sour cream. Serve over hot cooked noodles, if desired.
- Test Kitchen Tip: For Beef & Mushroom Stroganoff, add 1 package (8 ounces) sliced mushrooms when cooking the beef.
