Very different way of making porkchops. Used miracle whip instead of mayo. Everyone said they like it fine, but not to make again.

I thought it was awesome. I did tweek the recipe. I had 1.5 lbs of pork divided into 3 filets. I pounded the meat and doubled the amount of seasoning- coating both sides. I diced the onions and then mixed with the mayo to spread on top. Then added cheese. I cooked in a baking dish sprayed with olive oil at 350 for about 25 minutes

It turned out awesome! My mother was spending the weekend and she picked out the recipe when I was looking for a different way to make the pork chop. She was extremely satisfied! My husband loved it too!

I would definitely make this again. The topping made it very tasty but I believe I had too much mayo on the top. The next time I make this, I would spread the mayo first which will give me more of an idea of how much Is on there - then add the onions. I also would increase the amount of onions. I'm not sure I used as much as the recipe called for. I went more by what I saw in the picture. We love onions so I'd pile them on when I make this again. Also, all I had were thicker chops - so I cooked them longer. They ended up getting overcooked. All this to say, watch closely not to overcook.
