- 1 Tbsp. butter (I use unsalted)
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery (finely)
- 1 pkg. turkey sausage (6 links fully cooked, I used Jimmy Dean I picked up at Costco)
- 1/3 cup fresh parsley leaves (torn)
- 1 apple (medium, chopped into coarse cubes)
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning (or a blend of sage, thyme, marjoram and rosemary)
- 1 cup turkey broth
- 3/4 tsp. salt (and several grinds of fresh pepper)
