Yum!!! I couldn’t help myself and had one (or two) slices after 10 minutes of cooling n the pan. I reduced the time of baking by 10 min as the toothpick came out clean and the topped browned. The bread is moist and light. Served with butter, honey or jam or even quality olive oil to step it up a notch. Very easy with ingredients easily on hand. Another healthy snack for the kiddos!

This bread is DELICIOUS!! In terms of flavor and texture, I would call it sort of a hybrid between cornbread and pound cake! It’s delicious. I enjoy it with either honey or homemade jam! I bet it would be great with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream as well. BF agreed...10/5 SOOO GOOD!
